Malezi School Alumni

Our students who have been at the school both for their primary and high school education have received a very sound academic and social background which has enabled them to pursue competitive courses of their choice at top public and private universities both locally and abroad.

This Alumni is important as it is currently incorporated into our Student Mentorship Programme, where current students will choose a mentor out of the former students, with whom they maintain a line of communication. The mentor will be able to encourage and advise the student on academic issues. This is made suitable by the fact that our former students are already in, or are pursuing some of the most attractive careers in the country.

Comments from some Alumni Members

Arianne Okong’o
“I had quite an adventure at the school like running away/hiding from the Principal's car after school, being punished by the teachers for failing math, all of us protecting each other when in trouble (ganging up against the teachers). I loved the extra curricular activities except sports!! The science fair and the musicals were fun!! Ooooohhhhh! and how can I forget all of us getting into trouble when Massad disappeared!! All in all, I had a blast at Malezi; it was more than a school for me. It helped me shape my future. I also formed great friendships when I was there. Working at Malezi & Sadili as a volunteer after school helped me chart my career path to where I am now and who I am today.”
Currently in Nairobi, working as an Account Manager at an Advertising Agency called Young & Rubicam Nairobi - A Division of AY&R Group.

Thelma Kiwinda
“Loved my time at Malezi; especially the camps and trips. The food was amazing at the time. Who could forget the juice and fruits we would fight for after class? Was that fish we would fight for at lunch time? Great times!”
Currently in London U.K.  Working as a Healthcare Co-coordinator for Nestor PLC in Hertfordshire.
